Grumpy is in the process of moving house. This means Grumpys House is all packed into boxes and as such Grumpy will not be creating any shiny things in the foreseeable future.
Grumpy hopes to return to being slightly less grumpy in time but till then you’ll have to settle for the archives.
Made from an odd scrap of zebrano, a fruit knife. The cap unscrews and the blade is reversed and re threaded. Surprisingly strong and sharp.
This months challenge was to make something, anything, that would fit in a matchbox. Here’s my attempt, a mini ringed goblet in bubinga.
In our little monthly challenge I managed to win the judges favour on three occasions. Most chuffed 🙂
Last months challenge was a cup and saucer, and slight mishap (bet you can’t spot it) not counted it turned out quite nice 🙂

Hollowed to hold about a mugfull
in oak, a table lamp for this months challenge. Stands about a foot tall, without the shade and involved a lot of trigonometry, clever mathmatics, cunning drilling and most of all luck!
